Gaming & Play Network Notification Center

Understanding the gaming and play network notification center for players.

The bell icon in the Gaming and Play Networks (i.e. the Disney Lorcana Play Network or the Riftbound Gaming Network) is your personal notification center. It keeps you informed about the events you've registered for — so you always know what's happening and when.

The bell icon is located in the top navigation bar and is visible once logged in to a player account:

After each round is set by the event organizer, players will be notified that pairings are available. They can view the notification to see who they are playing against for the round.

View Notifications

To view event notifications:

  1. Log in to a player account in one of the Gaming or Play Networks

  2. Look for the bell icon in the top navigation bar

  3. Click the bell icon to open the notification panel and view recent alerts

Notification Center Features

The notification center is where players can view their notifications and includes several tools to help manage alerts and control when they are received.

Inbox

Filter the inbox by clicking on the arrow next to Inbox and pulling up the menu. The inbox can be filtered by Unread & Read, Unread Only, Snoozed, and Archived.

Mark the notification as Read by clicking on the check mark icon to the right of the notification. Click that icon again will mark the notification as Unread.

Use the clock icon to Snooze a notification so that it disappears from the timeline. The notification can be snoozed for An Hour, Tomorrow, Next Week or for a custom time. Unsnooze a notification by clicking the arrow next to the Inbox and filtering the notifications by Snoozed.

Notifications can be Archived by clicking the box icon next the the snooze icon. This will remove the notification from view and save that notification indefinitely. To see this notification again, click the arrow next to the Inbox and filter by Archived.

Three-Dot Menu (⋯)

At the top of the notification panel, there is a button with three dots that opens a quick-action menu with the following options:

  • Mark All As Read — Marks every notification in the inbox as read at once, clearing any unread indicators without removing the notifications.

  • Archive All — Moves all notifications to your archive, clearing out the active notification list entirely.

  • Archive Read — Selectively archives only the notifications that have been already read, keeping any unread ones visible in the active list.

Preferences

Within the notification center, clicking the gear icon opens the Notification Preferences menu.

The options include:

  • Global Preferences

  • Schedule

  • Event Messages

  • Onboarding Demo Workflow

Notification Schedule

The scheduling tool allows players to set custom times when they receive notifications. They can set specific dates and times for notifications to be delivered, giving them control over their alert preferences so they fit around their schedule.

Global Preferences

This can be toggled On or Off to control the Event Message Toggle and Onboarding Event Workflow Toggle. Toggling the Global Preferences Toggle OFF will toggle the other two options OFF as well.

Event Messages

Toggling the Event Messages Toggle OFF will turn off all event notifications that come through before, during, and after an event. Toggling this ON will allow notifications to be received as normal.

Tips

  • Stay registered: Notifications are tied to events you've signed up for. You won't receive alerts for events you haven't registered for.

  • Check in regularly: Some notifications (like round pairings) are time-sensitive during a live event, so keep an eye on the bell during event day.

  • Act quickly on pairings: Once pairings are posted, rounds typically begin shortly after — check your notification as soon as it comes in so you can find your table.
