Quick Start Guide: Managing Player Pairings (Unmatch & Rematch)

Purpose: Help organizers adjust player pairings during events.Audience: Tournament Organizers.Format: 6 clear steps with short actions.

Step 1: Start the Event

Once players are added, click Start Tournament to generate round one pairings.


Step 2: Check Pairings

Open the Pairings tab to see current matchups.


Step 3: Make Changes

Click the Table field to reassign players or adjust matchups.
From the Match Details panel, you can:

  • Change table numbers

  • Assign a judge

  • Add a time extension

  • Reset Match or Break Match

Tip: Breaking a match creates a new table for unmatched players.


Step 4: Break & Rematch

  • Use Break Match for each table involved.

  • Unmatched players will appear without tables.

  • To create new pairings:

    • Select Add to Match (places player into a new match).

    • Use Give Bye if needed.

    • Add another player to the match.

    • Edit the table number if required.

    • Click Create Match to finalize.


Step 5: Update Complete

Once tables are updated, round matches will repopulate.
You can now Start the Round.
