Unleashed Event Registrations Are Open - Key Dates

UVS announces Unleashed event registration is open for Pre-Rift and two Summoner Skirmishes. Retailers must register by March 14th, 2026 for kit eligibility and prizing.

Updated this week

Hello Retail Partners,

Event registrations remain open for Unleashed, the third Riftbound booster set releasing on May 8th, 2026! As with all Riftbound booster releases, Unleashed includes three in-store events to register for: the Unleashed Pre-Rift Event and two Summoner Skirmish events, one in June and one in July.

Please note that event registration on the Riftbound Gaming Network is required to be eligible for both Pre-Rift event kit allocations and Summoner Skirmish prizing.

Review the sections below for detailed information on each event type, and be sure to get your registrations in place!

Unleashed Pre-Rift Events

The Unleashed Pre-Rift Event provides your community their first opportunity to experience the new set with a unique sealed play experience. Your players will not want to miss out, so be sure to sign up today!

Important for Retailers

  • Stores must register their Pre-Rift Event in the Riftbound Gaming Network by the deadline to be eligible. We are unable to make exceptions for late registrations.

  • After March 18th, UVS Games will provide an email to you detailing your final Pre-Rift Event Kit allocations.

    • Allocations will be determined based on your play community and other factors.

    • The best way to ensure your allocation is by actively hosting and logging events on the Riftbound Gaming Network

  • Kits are only available through your preferred distributor, and you must contact them directly to place your order.

    • You may change your preferred distributor as it pertains to Unleashed through March 14th. After that date, your distributor will be locked for Unleashed.

Details on Riftbound Sealed Play

With Spiritforged Pre-Rift events kicking off soon, we've seen some questions come in regarding Sealed Play rules. While you can always refer to the Riftbound Tournament Rules section 602 for the full list of rules for Sealed Play, we're happy to provide a quick reference for the top-line details.

Please Note: Aside from Pre-Rift player kits, Spiritforged products should not be sold during your Pre-Rift events. Product sales are restricted until the full release date on February 13th.

When planning your event, we recommend a capped 3 rounds of casual play for the best experience. A booster display is included in each 16-player Pre-Rift Event Kit for you to use as prize support.

  • 45 min deckbuilding time (if players finish early, feel free to move on early)

  • All players open their Pre-Rift kit and, using the contents of their kit, build decks that meets the following requirements:

    • Main Deck should be EXACTLY 25 cards, Rune deck is exactly 12 Runes, and up to one Legend (a Legend is not required).

    • Main and Rune decks can be composed of up to 3 domains, the Legend must match 2 of the 3 chosen domains.

    • A player's Chosen Champion can be any Champion unit within those 3 domains, and does not have to have match the deck's Legend or Legend's domain.

    • Any Signature Spells that fit within the chosen domains can be included, even if the Legend/Champion does not match.

  • Additional notes:

    • A sealed deck is still legal with no Champion Legend or Chosen Champion. If a player does not have one or the other, they draw an additional card at the start of their first beginning phase each game (if they have neither, they still only draw one).

    • A player may use "blank" battlefields represented by a face-down card if they wish.

    • Players may use basic runes from any source for play, even if they were not part of the contents of their Pre-Rift kit. If players use runes from your provided bulk rune display, it is recommended that you encourage them to return their basic runes at the end of the event.

See Riftbound Tournament Rules for more details.
