Player Registration, Event Management, and Payments

Register for events, manage participation, and understand payments and refunds on the play networks.

Accessing the Play Networks

Once a player account has been created on any of the player sites, players can search for events in two ways:

  • Click the Events tab to browse all available events

  • Click Stores or Find a Store to search for events at a specific location

Registering for an Event

To join an event:

  1. Click Join Event

  2. A confirmation window will appear with the player information

  3. Review and confirm player details to complete registration

After confirming, the player will be successfully registered for the event.

Important

Some events require a Deck Submission. It's important to complete this step if required—otherwise, the player registration may be incomplete or the deck submission may be marked as late.

Dropping from an Event

To drop from an event before or after the event has started:

  1. Locate the event via the Events tab or My Events

  2. Select the event

  3. Click Drop under the Joined section

Once a player has dropped, they will show a Dropped status on the event Roster:

Rejoining an Event

If a player previously dropped from an event, they can rejoin by:

  • Clicking Re-Join Event at the top right of the event page

If the option is unavailable (greyed out), registration may be closed. In this case:

  • Contact the Tournament Organizer (TO) for assistance

  • TOs can manually add players to events if needed

Payments and Refunds

Payments

Event payment methods are determined by the Tournament Organizer and may include:

  • Online payment

  • In-person payment

  • A combination of both

Refunds

  • In most cases, if a player has paid for an event and chooses to drop, a refund will be issued automatically

  • Tournament Organizers can issue manual refunds and set specific refund parameters for their events, so players looking to request or check on a refund should first reach out to the Tournament Organizer

  • Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to process, depending on the bank
