Managing Player Pairings (Unmatch & Rematch)

How to adjust player pairings during events.

Make Changes to Pairings

Once the event has started and players have been paired, navigate to the Pairings tab to make adjustments. Click the Table field to reassign players or adjust matchups.

From the Match Details panel, you can:

  • Change table numbers

  • Assign a judge

  • Add a time extension

  • Reset Match or Break Match

Break & Rematch

  • Use Break Match for each table involved.

  • Unmatched players will appear without tables.

  • To create new pairings:

    • Select Add to Match (places player into a new match).

    • Use Give Bye if needed.

    • Add another player to the match.

    • Edit the table number if required.

    • Click Create Match to finalize.

Matches can be broken from the Round Matches table using the three dots (...) menu in the Actions column:

To break multiple matches at once, click the check boxes on the far left side to select all or some of the matches, then click the Match Actions drop-down and select Break Matches:

Players from broken matches will appear in an Unmatched Players table above the Round Matches table:

Once tables are updated, round matches will repopulate, and the round can proceed.
