Un-starting an Event
If an event has been accidentally or mistakenly started, it can be reverted back to an "upcoming" state by following these steps:
Click on the Undo button in the top right of the page
Type UNDO START into the dialogue box
Click Undo Start Event
This will revert the event to its pre-started state. Registration will be reopened and any players who were dropped for not checking in will be restored. All generated pairings and standings will be deleted.
Started events can be reverted up until the first round has been paired, so if the event has been progressed past that point, breaking each of the pairs will allow the event to be reverted.
Undoing Pairings
Player matches cannot be reverted with an Undo button. Instead, matches can be broken by following these steps:
Navigate to the Pairings tab
In the Round Matches table, click the three dots (...) in the Actions column
Click on Break match
Alternatively, click on the Table field to open the Match Details panel, then click on Break Match at the bottom of the panel:
Undoing Standings
Once standings have been entered and the Tournament Organizer has clicked the Generate Standings Round X button to progress the event, the standings can be reverted before pairing the next round.
To undo the standings:
Click on the Undo button in the top right of the page
Type UNDO STANDINGS into the dialogue box
Click Revert Standings
This will delete the calculated standings for this round. Standings will need to be regenerated before proceeding to the next round or phase.
Undoing a Top Cut
Once an event has been advanced to the Top Cut, it can be reversed by using the Undo button up until the first result has been submitted. If changes need to be made to a Top Cut that has already started, the Undo button will revert the start of the phase to allow edits to be made to the Top Cut.
After the first result has been input, the matches must be broken in order to undo the progress of the event and revert the Top Cut.
To undo a top cut:
Click on the Undo button in the top right of the page
Type UNDO PHASE into the dialogue box
Click Undo Phase Transition
This will revert the phase transition. The current phase will be deleted and the tournament will return to the previous phase. Any players who were cut or eliminated during the transition will be restored.
Reopening a Finished Event
Once an event has been ended, it can be reopened.
To reopen an event:
Click on the Undo button in the top right of the page
Type REOPEN EVENT into the dialogue box
Click Revert Event Finish
This will reopen the finished event. The event will return to its in-progress state and changes can be made to pairings and results.
