Recurring Schedules

How to set up recurring events using the Recurring Schedules function.

Recurring schedules automatically create events from templates on a regular basis. Set up weekly, monthly, or custom recurrence patterns for hands-free event creation.

Recurring events can be created on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis.

Creating a Recurring Schedule

From an Event

Navigate to the Events tab in the 2.0 Dashboard.

Click the three dots (...) in the Actions column and select Make Recurring:

Alternatively, open an event, click the three dots (...) on the right side of the Details tab, and select Make Recurring:

From a Template

After creating an Event Template, open the template by navigating to the Events tab, then to the Templates tab. Then select the Event Template.

To create a Recurring Schedule from an Event Template, click on the Recurring Schedules button:

Then click on + Create Schedule to bring up the Create Recurring Schedule module:

Click on Create Schedule to finalize the parameters and create the schedule.

When a Recurring Schedule is created, it will publish eight events. To create an additional event using the Recurring Schedule Event Template, click on Create Next Event Now.

Editing a Recurring Schedule

To make changes to a Recurring Schedule, navigate to the Events tab, then click on the Schedules tab. From there, select the Schedule under Schedule Name.

Click on the Edit button to bring up the module to make changes to the Schedule. Editing a Recurring Schedule will apply those changes to all existing events created with the schedule.

To deactivate a Schedule, click on the Deactivate button. The Schedule can then be re-activated by clicking on the Activate button in the same place.

To cancel all future events created by a Recurring Schedule:

  1. Click on the Cancel Events button

  2. Optional:

    1. Check box to refund paid registrations

    2. Check box to deactivate the schedule

  3. Click on Cancel Future Events

All future events created by the schedule that have not started yet will be canceled. Past and in-progress events will not be affected.
